A Japanese firm recently introduced the PrePeat, a desktop printer that uses recycled plastic sheets as paper and can recycle paper. The plastic sheets are actually heat-sensitive PET, the most common materials used for beverage bottles. These are made out of recycled plastics. Aside from this using recycled plastic as paper, PrePeat can also delete and reprint on the plastic sheets. Each plastic sheet can be re-used 1,000 times.
